Please keep this in mind if your coach schedules 20 minute lessons. The following Club Ice times have the maximum amount of skaters for that session: Mondays 5:00-5:30pm and Wednesdays from 6:15-6:45pm. On Wednesdays, there is only one available spot from 5:45-6:15pm not filled with a contract.

Cost
Walk on Price:

Full and Associate Members -
1/2 hour $10
Per Hour: $20

Punch cards will be sold are are $95 per card.

There are three payment/participation options for skaters.

  • Purchase a contract. A contract guarantees your spot on the designated session every week. The details are provided in the Club Ice contract along with the dates for each session. Contracts are generally sold at the beginning of the season and are offered to MEFSC club members first.

  • Use a punch card. Punch cards of 10 sessions may be purchased for regular use.  Skaters may use these cards in 30 minute increments. Skaters are expected to leave the ice once the 30 minutes has concluded. Those who stay longer will be told to leave and may be charged for a second 30-minute session. Skaters using punch cards will be admitted to the ice on a first come, first-served basis.

  • Pay a walk-on fee. Skaters may choose to walk-on any session for a fee charged in 30-minute increments, that is determined at the start of each season. Skaters are expected to leave the ice once the 30 minutes has concluded. Those who stay longer than 30 minutes will be asked to leave and may have to pay the full 60 minute fee. Skaters must bring/have exact change if paying cash.

Please note that walk-on skaters and those using a punch card are not guaranteed a spot. If you have a lesson, please arrive early to check-in for Club Ice sessions. The number of skaters allowed on the ice is limited for the benefit of the skaters. Once the session is full, those skaters who arrive thereafter will be not be allowed on the ice — even if they have a lesson.

Payment must be made before a skater will be allowed to take the ice. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please check in upon arrival with the Club Ice monitor.

GUEST COACHES: A coach who is not a member of the Club may coach on MEFSC club ice up to 8 times per fiscal year without becoming a member for a fee of $5/hour. Note, there is no charge for dance partners when practicing with skaters for an upcoming test.
