Are You Ready For This...ISI NATIONALS is coming to St. Louis!

Synchro Spirit Week - March 29th - April 10th

ISI Nationals at St. Peters Rec Plex - April 12th-13th

Mark your calendars for these fun and zany activities for the Metro Edge Synchro Skaters as we get pumped up for ISI Nationals!  We would like to invite all our synchro families, individual skaters and coaches to come out and support the Metro Edge teams as they compete in Nationals.  This event is held all around the country and this is the first time St. Louis has hosted this event!  With more than 1,100 skaters and 105 teams competing it is sure to be a fun and exciting weekend!  We would love to have all our club members there to enjoy the event and support our teams.  Please see the schedule below for skating times of our teams.

Saturday, March 29th

 

CRAZY HAIR AND MAKE-UP DAY

Come to practice with Crazy Hair and Make-Up!  The coaches will determine the top three winners for each team and those skaters will receive 10 Good Sports Notes EACH!  All skaters with Crazy Hair and Make-Up will receive one Good Sports Note.  The one skater who is judged to have the CRAZIEST Hair and Make-Up of all teams will receive a Starbuck's $25 Gift Certificate!  So get up just a little earlier to put on some Crazy Make-Up...your hair may work as it is!!  Coaches, don't miss out on the fun, the coach with the CRAZIEST Hair and Make-Up will win a Starbuck's $25 Gift Certificate too!

 WEAR YOUR FAVORITE SYNCHRO COSTUME

Pick your favorite...or funniest... synchro costume from the past, or borrow one from a fellow synchro skater and wear it to practice.  It will be a trip down memory lane!

PICTURE PERFECT DAY

Team photos will be taken on this day.  All MEFSC members may also have individual pictures taken.  Team photos will be taken during our morning synchro ice time.  Please watch your e-mail and our website for a schedule.  Teams please check with your team managers for details on hair and make-up.

SPIRIT SIGN DAY

Get out your poster board, markers, pens and crayons and put your creative ideas to work to make a sign to give to our fans to hold up in the stands to cheer on our teams at ISI Nationals.  Bring your sign to your designated practice and the coaches will judge and select the top 5 winners on Monday and Tuesday.  The winners on each night will receive 20 Good Sports Notes each, all participants will receive one Good Sports Note.

Thursday, April 10th

 

SPIRIT RALLY

Following our all-teams practice, all skaters will gather in the meeting rooms to learn and practice our cheers - parents are welcome too!  Each team may prepare a cheer or skit to perform - don't miss seeing the COACHES perform tier skit or cheer!  This is the last practice where we will all be together for the season, so be sure and bring a "Skate Great" card or note for your buddy!  Remember, it is all about encouragement - not cost.  All skaters will receive one Good Sports Note for attending the rally.

ISI NATIONALS METRO EDGE COMPETITION SCHEDULE

Team arrival times, practice ice times, etc. will be provided to teams by their coaches & team managers.  Below is the general competition times provided by ISI.  The competition is being held at the St. Peters Rec Plex SOUTH (the new building), spectators should plan on arriving one hour prior to competitions time to allow for parking and events running early.  Some teams will have final rounds, dates and times of these depend upon their placement in tier initial round.  A full schedule may be found at http://www.skateisi.com, just click Competitions, National Competitions, then Synchronized Championships.
